Mendel Kaelen

I’m Mendel Kaelen, a neuroscientist, entrepreneur, and creative working at the crossroads of music, consciousness and psychotherapy.

My research focuses on the therapeutic functions of music for psychedelic therapy, whereas with Wavepaths I built an adaptive music technology used in a variety of therapeutic practices around the world. I share my thoughts through writing, lectures, workshops or interviews, and also offer guided therapeutic listening sessions and coaching for individuals and groups.

When not working on these, you are likely to find me immersed in practicing suizen or dhrupad, mixing, modular synthesis, or surfing waves in the Atlantic Ocean.
